Opioid Maintenance Treatment
This practice provides medication management and treatment for the maintenance phase of care with buprenorphine / naloxone (opiate use disorder) and medications for mild to moderate alcohol use disorder.
In some special cases of mild opiate use disorder that does not require detox in a hospital setting, we may be able provide outpatient suboxone induction which requires 2-3 days of consecutive office visits to optimize the suboxone to the correct therapeutic dose. For those struggling with complex conditions, such as moderate or severe use, the detox phase must be managed in an inpatient hospital facility for safety.
Once you are fully detoxed, we can take the baton and continue your care on maintenance treatment with medications to keep the condition in remission.
For all patients on this life changing medication, the patient is expected to be independently enrolled in peer/self-help and regular professional counseling with a chemical dependency counselor as indicated.
